Position Summary
The Staff Scientist will assist/work on the project titled: “Human Endogenous Retroviral Sequences (HERVs) in the Development and Progression of human glioblastoma.” The incumbent’s duties will include conducting basic and translational research using in-vivo and in-vitro models, performing cell cultures, molecular biology techniques, RNA and protein isolation, phase contract, fluorescence and confocal microscopy, and gene transfer using plasmid and viral vectors including CRISPR/Cas9 system and stable cell lines generation. Successful candidates should have an interest in translational cancer research with a PhD or equivalent degree and must be able to work independently with high self-motivation.
