Administrative Assistant (part-time) Overview

This position provides administrative, clerical, and data entry support. This position must be in the Little Rock office to daily process claims checks and support monthly commission payments by matching statements and mailing checks. Hours will be 8 : 00 am - 12 : 00 pm CST.

Essential Duties

  • Performs daily tasks to process, print, and mail Claim, Disability, and Refund checks
  • Reviews output for accuracy
  • Completes various processing activities related to accounts payable transactions
  • May perform other duties assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to perform accurate and timely data entry
  • Basic working knowledge of general office practices and procedures
  • Basic oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Basic MS Office skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and detail orientation skills
  • Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 0-2 years of general office experience
  • Or, equivalent military experience
  • Preferred Education and Experience

  • 1-2 years of accounts payable / general accounting experience
  • Experience providing customer support in an accounting department
  • USAL1
