We are seeking a visionary Assistant Programme Director to lead and drive our cybersecurity initiatives. Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management:

• Oversee and manage a team responsible for the technical testing of network and application systems to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
• Ensure team members have a comprehensive understanding of network architectures and application frameworks to safeguard systems effectively.
• Foster a high-performance, collaborative environment that supports team development and skill enhancement.

Strategic Development & Execution:

• Develop and implement testing protocols and procedures aligned with industry best practices to ensure robust security measures.
• Drive the strategic direction of cybersecurity projects, aligning with organisational goals and market demands.
• Lead cross-functional teams across multiple regions to deliver project objectives on time and within scope.

Communication & Stakeholder Management:

• Provide clear and effective communication to customer leadership, offering updates on programme deliverables, status, and future roadmaps.
• Liaise with the Board of Directors (BOD) to report on security assessments, compliance efforts, and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) teams to integrate security strategies across the organisation.
• Translate complex security and technical issues into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.

Technical Excellence:

• Maintain and enhance technical standards within the team by leveraging cutting-edge technologies and cybersecurity methodologies.
• Ensure the technical robustness and continuous improvement of key cybersecurity initiatives, including SaaS tools and other strategic programmes.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing complex projects and teams.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong executive presence and the ability to navigate complex corporate structures, influencing senior stakeholders and board members.
• Proven experience in leading technical teams focused on network and application security testing.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity, IT governance, and risk management frameworks.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a high level of technical acumen.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategic roadmaps and convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of collaborating effectively with senior management and external partners.
• Strong public speaking and communication skills, with experience representing the organisation in media and public forums.
