A dedicated cybersecurity firm that covers the entire cybersecurity spectrum, with services that include security, advisory services, social engineering, and Virtual CISO engagements is currently looking to add its 1st sales specialist to help support the business leaders to continue to grow revenue generation. They have many certifications, and an experienced leadership team and have generated millions via referrals and their network. However, they need to build a dedicated sales function for the business to keep growing!
The ideal candidate is an experienced BDR/AE with experience selling cybersecurity services and knowledge of the US cyber market and cyber customers. You will be their 1st salesperson so this will be a greenfield site, with a chance to build the sales function to establish relationships with new customers to uncover high-value opportunities. You will be in charge of bringing in new business opportunities, usually through cold email, cold calls, networking, and social selling. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by qualifying leads and prospecting through existing business accounts to engage with potential buyers. Once you've booked a meeting, you will trained in meetings and closing. Whatever you bring in, will be yours!
This is a fully remote role with travel to clients. As they are based in the Pacific Northwest, ideally but not exclusively looking for someone in that Seattle area. They serve clients nationwide, clients include organizations in the highly regulated sectors of healthcare, finance, defence contracting, higher education and enterprise technology companies as well.
Therefore, if you have a track record of selling security services with experience of working within a start-up or have experience building out a sales functions, then this role would be ideal.
