What are the responsibilities and job description for the Development Coordinator position at LT?
Job Description:
The Development Coordinator provides support to the Development Team, coordinating website projects between our internal team and offshore team. A key element of this position is for the candidate to be self motivated, adaptive and have multi-tasking skills to meet our Development needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Document business requirements for each project, update project documentation and communicate it with the development team
- Provide project status to internal team during our daily check ins and keep track of important project deadlines
- Assist with scheduling of meetings and onboarding of development team
- Assist the development team with answers to their queries and questions. Communicate internally within our team to gather information on those questions
- Ability to be organized and methodical in tracking work progress
- Working within our Project management tool to keep everything organized
- Own project timelines and progress
- Ability to learn new concepts of website development projects
Reporting Relationship: Will report to the Vice President of Development, who will provide mentorship, oversight and assistance with day-to-day responsibility and career growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, information technology, business or related field
- Excellent ability to meet deadlines or projects and coordinate tasks
- Natural ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment.
- Understanding of website build, content management system and other development related technologies
- Excellent ability to document business and project requirements
- Experience with WordPress is desirable
