Material Handler/Driver

Job Summary:

The Material Handler/Driver will be responsible for efficiently managing materials and products within our warehouse and delivering them to various locations, including company sites and customer destinations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills, excellent time management, and a commitment to maintaining accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities:

· Transport products/materials between company sites and customer locations.

· Deliver products, raw materials, and other materials to customers according to established schedules.

· Maintain accurate inventory records by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording their locations.

· Locate materials and supplies by accurately pulling and verifying items listed on production orders.

· Ensure the availability of in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening necessary materials and supplies.

· Document the disposition of materials and supplies by accurately recording delivered units and their locations.

· Receive credit-return materials and supplies from production, verifying codes, lot numbers, and quantities before placing items in stock.

· Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing products.

· Record product shipments by accurately documenting units shipped.

· Contribute to the overall team effort by accomplishing related tasks and goals as needed.

Qualifications:

· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

· Strong organizational and scheduling skills.

· Proficiency in analyzing information and making effective decisions.

· Ability to handle complexity and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

· Deadline-oriented mindset with excellent time management abilities.

· Dedication to process improvement and optimizing material handling procedures.

· Commitment to safety management protocols and practices.

· Experience in inventory control and maintaining accurate records.

· Physical strength and ability for lifting and moving heavy items.

· Data entry skills for accurately recording information into the system.
