Description
The individual is responsible for the cultivation of client relationships and the attainment of profitable sales within the designated territories and product lines, adhering to specific criteria as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential clients by conducting market research, leveraging networking opportunities, utilizing cold-calling techniques, and establishing a professional customer relationship.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Present and showcase LTG products and services to prospective clients and at industry trade shows.
- Fulfill the assigned sales quotations; negotiate and close sales deals while ensuring the agreed gross profit margins are met or exceeded.
- Obtain a comprehensive understanding of the customer's application requirements and provide a solution for the appropriate LTG product.
- Understand client needs and collaborate with the client to design customized technical solutions.
- Create proposals that are priced per the company's pricing guidelines while consistently monitoring project progress
- Prepare incoming orders for procurement and generate purchase orders to the factory and/or supplier.
- Work closely with the LTG Sales Teams in Spartanburg and the headquarters in Germany.
- Prepare and deliver sales reports, forecasts, and presentations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments.
- Support the marketing and product management teams to develop effective sales strategies and campaigns.
- Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by the Managing Director of LTG Inc.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical)
- 3-5 years proven experience in technical sales
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Team player with strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. safely and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- LTG special OEM fans for all industries, amongst others: food processing, agriculture, medical equipment, industrial ovens, testing, and packaging industries
- LTG OEM Automotive wind simulators and wind tunnels to test the vehicle aerodynamic performance
- LTG industrial dust collection and waste handling equipment for Textiles, Nonwovens, Paper, and Tissue Industry, incl. spare parts business
- 70% percent of the time will be spent in the office, while 30% percent will involve traveling within the United States and Canada (and occasionally Mexico)
