Role Description
Role : Program Manager - IT Mobile Application
Location : Dallas, TX ( hybrid 3 days’ work from office)
In person client interview is required
Rate : 75/hr to 80/hr
Responsibilities
Program Leadership: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
Agile Methodology Expertise: Drive Agile best practices across teams, ensuring efficient sprint planning, backlog grooming, and program increment (PI) planning.
Mobile Application Expertise: Collaborate with iOS and Android development teams to manage app release cycles, feature roadmaps, and ongoing enhancements.
Stakeholder Management: Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product, IT, UX/UI Design, Marketing, and Operations, to ensure program goals are met.
Aviation Alignment: Integrate aviation-specific needs into mobile app features, leveraging knowledge of industry standards, operations, and customer behaviors.
Customer Focus: Champion user-centric design and functionality by incorporating customer feedback and industry trends into program deliverables.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks, dependencies, and obstacles, proactively creating mitigation plans to keep programs on track.
Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize analytics and performance metrics to measure program success and drive continuous improvement.
Communication: Provide clear and concise updates to senior leadership, ensuring transparency on program status, challenges, and achievements.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s in business administration, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.
Experience: 10 years of experience in program/project management.
Proven success in mobile application development or managing large, complex programs.
Extensive experience managing programs in Agile environments, including frameworks such as Scrum, or Kanban.
Aviation industry experience or knowledge of airline operations is highly preferred.
Technical Acumen: Familiarity with mobile app development lifecycles, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as Rally/ADO, or similar platforms.
Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence without authority, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with a track record of resolving complex program challenges.
