Job Description
The Desktop Manager will be responsible for providing support for desktops and laptops, including troubleshooting and repairing hardware issues. They will also manage peripheral devices, operating systems, and Active Directory.
The ideal candidate will have experience with printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices. They should be proficient in Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems, as well as Microsoft 365 applications such as Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
The Desktop Manager will also be responsible for managing Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for security and configuration management, using tools like SCCM and Intune for remote management and software deployment.
They will have experience with video conferencing tools like Zoom, Cisco Webex, and Google Meet, as well as unified communication platforms like Skype for Business and Slack.
The Desktop Manager will also implement and manage Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policies using MDM tools like Microsoft Intune, AirWatch, or MobileIron.
