Job Title: Lab Engineer
Work Location
Bellevue, WA
Role & Opportunity: The successful applicant will be responsible for testing and validating storage devices and systems with a focus on electrical engineering fundamentals for PCBA-level work and debugging. This includes using automated test scripts, writing and maintaining scripts, and following instructions to configure and test storage hardware and software. The role also involves troubleshooting storage devices and test setups, as well as logging, analyzing, and summarizing data. The candidate should be self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, and willing to take initiatives. Availability for after-hours support when needed is a plus.
Requirements:
Minimum AA/BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
1-2 years or more experience in programming and automated test platforms (e.g., PowerShell, Python, C#, VB.NET, LabView).
Hardware testing/electronics debugging.
Basic electronic skills (read schematic drawings, understand circuit diagrams, simple hardware modifications).
Comfortable working with DMMs and Oscilloscopes.
Experience with PDN and Power Delivery on PC.
Strong skills in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. This includes creating and editing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations to visualize data and generate reports.
Good written and oral communication skills are essential for documenting test procedures, writing reports, and collaborating with team members.
Coordinate with PM and Qual engineers for day-to-day operations.
Identify and implement the areas of automation
Manage lab as needed and maintain area in accordance with safety standards
Manage and maintain test hardware test racks and test equipment in the lab
Server Architecture and debugging the server components
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose servers and technical issues.
Training sessions within the team
Support lab shipping, receiving logistics and manage inventory of equipment and materials
Good Communication with Customer and internal teams
Planning disaster recovery procedures
Coordinate with LTIMindtree for the day to day operations (Cooling, Power utilization, vendor onboarding etc.,).
Position is 100% in person during business hours. Following customer holiday calendar.
Desirable:
Experience with software (Cadence Allegro Viewer for schematics).
PCBA-level rework experience (soldering, etc.).
PCBA experience, designing/testing.
Experience with Azure DevOps.
