Job Title: Senior Business Analyst (with P&C Insurance domain experience)
Work Location: Cincinnati, OH (Hybrid – Onsite)
Technical Skills (Primary):
- 7 to 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst with experience in Insurance Domain
- Should have strong domain knowledge in Property and Casualty Insurance sector
- Should have strong knowledge of Insurance systems Policy Processing Billing Claims accounting and reinsurance etc.
- Strong at analyzing and defining Business Requirements for IT Projects
- Translate business and design requirements into technical requirements for multiple Development teams’ backend service developer’s framework developers and UI developers
- Perform critical analysis on information consolidated from multiple sources identify and resolve conflicts and break down high level information into detailed workable requirements
- Work with Developers and Subject Matter Experts to understand the work effort for a requirement communicate any compromises or risks to the Designers and Product Managers and if needed facilitate making adjustments that satisfy all parties
- Liaise with business units and technical teams to capture and communicate the needs of the clients and the solutions
- Review and adjust insurance policy applications
- Good at Agile Methodologies Planning and Estimation
- Should have good communication skills verbal and written and experience in Client management
- Should be good at documentation presentation and providing Client related Demos
- Should be well versed in BA roles and responsibilities preparing BRD FRD user story creation with acceptance criteria
- Should have experience of Project management tools like Rally Jira etc.
- Should have good analytical skills and critical thinking
- Should have DCT work experience
Technical Skills (Secondary Nice to have, NOT MANDATORY):
- Participate in daily scrum calls to communicate about the status of the work I was performing daily and well as to communicate any impediments and challenges faced during the development of the project
- Participate in retrospective sessions and shared open communication with team members
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication verbal and written and teamwork skills
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify track and report software defects
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Respond to all requests from internal and client team members in a timely professional manner
