Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Tooling Designer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing precision tooling for use in various manufacturing processes. This role requires a strong understanding of CAD software.
Duties
- Design & detail tooling and fixtures for production processes (i.e. machining, welding, assembly) utilizing Creo Parametric.
- Read and interpret technical drawings.
- Meet schedules and maintain quality standards.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Take actions that support teamwork, safety, and good housekeeping.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to introduce and improve tool design and manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
Experience
- Strong background in manufacturing techniques & processes.
- Applied experience with at least one CAD system (Creo preferred).
- Ability to generate & read drawings effectively.
- Solid math skills for precise measurements and calculations.
- General knowledge of computer skills.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
