LTN is seeking an experienced Data Center Facilities Manager to oversee the operations, maintenance, growth, and strategic efficiency of our global data centers. This role ensures that our facilities meet the highest standards for reliability, security, and scalability, supporting both traditional colocation services and our next-generation media cloud infrastructure.
You will join our global infrastructure team who manages LTN's data centers, facilities, and networks to build our highly reliable and scalable network infrastructure and services used for delivering broadcast media services developed by LTN engineering. You will be a significant part of a small but highly skilled team providing the foundation for the entire company.
You will work with world class engineers to manage deployments of innovative new technology for media services in ways proven to be unmatched in reliability and ability to deliver solutions to complex video workflows which drive the business of tier-1 media companies, professional sports leagues, and digital OTT platforms.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day server deployments and maintenance work in all data centers.
- Lead Change Management during data center maintenance windows and expansion/migration projects.
- Lifecycle management of our global co-location data centers and associated hardware to ensure uptime, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Manage multiple vendor relationships for power, cooling, colocation, remote hands, storage, and security systems.
- Track and manage vendor maintenance notifications and ensure they are handled by change process and internal teams.
- Develop and implement best practices, including energy efficiency, reliable hardware systems, and risk mitigation.
- Track key performance metrics for facility operations and compliance.
- Collaborate with IT, SRE, Operations, and Infrastructure teams to integrate private media cloud solutions into our growing inventory of facilities.
- Lead incident response and disaster recovery planning for data center operations.
- Support customer driven capacity expansions, audits, and SLAs.
- Plan and manage expansion projects. Build and communicate demand plans to leadership and cross-functional teams ensuring a clear understanding of demand needs, space allocations, and potential implications.
- Work with cross-functional partners to identify cost reduction opportunities. This includes strategies such as equipment optimization and reallocation strategies.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of global data center infrastructure.
Skill/Ability Needed:
- Ability to take a high level project description and create/execute detailed technical data center engineering plans.
- Proven track record of ownership of systems from design/implementation to administration and maintenance.
- Proactive mindset and forward looking approach to building and operating extremely high reliability networks and services.
- Ability to travel as needed to support global operations.
- Ability to participate in a 24x7 on-call shift rotations, including weekend coverage.
Experience:
- 5 years of experience in data center facility management, colocation, and cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with media/broadcast related infrastructure and associated technologies.
- Strong knowledge of power systems (UPS, generators), cooling (HVAC, CRAC/CRAH), and fire suppression.
- Experience with industry standard compute, storage, virtualization, and software platforms.
- Experience with structured cabling, networking, and security systems in a data center environment.
- Understanding of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, Tier Standards, etc.).
- Vendor management, budgeting, and contract negotiation.
- Public Cloud networks (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Professional certifications: (ex: CCNA, CCIE, ACE..), nice-to-have.
