What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transport Specialist (CDL Driver) position at LTN?
Position Summary:
The main function of the Transport Specialist is to drive commercial vehicles with LTN's broadcast production equipment to live sporting events located all across the country. There will also be responsibility to assist in LTN's warehouses for general support and maintenance work.
LTN is based in Liberty, Missouri which will serve as home-base for this role, but you will drive to event sites (mostly sports arenas) that are located all over the country.
This is a full time, salaried position including a full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k, Paid Time Off, etc.).
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Drive production trucks and trailers to and from venues (mainly sports arenas) located across the country.
- Assist in loading and unloading production equipment once on-site.
- Work closely with the entire production and engineering staff for all events.
- When not on-site at a venue, perform warehouse and maintenance duties as requested.
- Communicate with production staff in a professional manner.
Requirements:
- 2 years of commercial driving experience.
- Must have an active, valid CDL with manual transmission endorsement.
- Able to be on the road, sometimes for months at a time.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must have a completed DOT physical exam.
- Must meet all Federal and State DOT guidelines.
- Must be in good standing with all Federal and State commercial motor vehicle guidelines.
- Ability to back any size trailer into a set parking position with little front, back or side clearance.
