What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Developing Officer position at LTS?
LTSis seeking an experienced Network Developing Officer (NDO) to establish, maintain, and improve health networks to support military personnel, with an emphasis on healthcare delivery, infrastructure, and system optimization. The NDO will be responsible for overseeing the strategic development, implementation, and management of healthcare networks within the DoD. This includes working closely with military healthcare facilities, contractors, and other partners to enhance health services delivery and ensure the readiness and resilience of the healthcare system in support of military personnel.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize network infrastructure to meet the evolving needs of military health readiness.
- Identify and implement new technologies and systems to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare delivery.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities in network infrastructure.
- Develop and implement contingency plans for network disruptions or emergencies to ensure continuous healthcare delivery during deployment or operational missions.
- Support the military healthcare units by ensuring network systems are secure, efficient, and fully operational.
- Serve as a liaison between military healthcare providers, IT departments, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure that all systems, including Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Health Information Technology (HIT), are effectively integrated into the overall health network.
- Oversee the implementation of telemedicine, mobile health apps, and other digital health technologies to enhance access and care delivery.
- Ensure compliance with DoD regulations, health information security standards, and national healthcare policies.
- Work with legal, compliance, and policy teams to ensure that network designs meet operational requirements and security protocols.
- Develop training materials and provide guidance to staff on the use of network systems and technology.
- Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues.
- Prepare and present reports on network development progress, effectiveness, and readiness for leadership and stakeholders.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, information technology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in network development, system integration, or healthcare IT, preferably within the Department of Defense or military healthcare systems.
- Strong understanding of DoD health policies, health IT standards, and compliance regulations.
- Certification in network management (e.g., CompTIA Network , Cisco).
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and Health Information Technology (HIT) preferred.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and external partners.
