LTSis seeking an experienced Service Component Liaison Officer overseeing the implementation of health readiness requirements and ensuring seamless integration of services to meet operational readiness goals. The Service Component LNO will serve as the primary point of contact between the DoD's healthcare command structure and the specific Service Component (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, etc.).

Duties & Responsibilities
- Facilitate coordination between the DoD’s health readiness programs and the specific Service Component. Ensure alignment of goals, objectives, and priorities.
- Act as the liaison between military healthcare entities, medical commands, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resource allocation.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with DoD health readiness regulations and guidelines, including medical readiness standards, fitness-for-duty assessments, and deployment medical support.
- Help implement health-related policies, directives, and strategies at the service component level, ensuring the integration of these policies into daily operations.
- Evaluate health readiness status and recommend necessary improvements or interventions to maintain the service component’s health capabilities in support of military missions.
- Provide guidance and support to personnel on health readiness requirements, including periodic training and briefings for military leaders and healthcare staff.
- Maintain detailed reports and records of health readiness activities and progress. Provide regular updates and assessments to higher-level DoD health readiness authorities.
- Work closely with military medical facilities to ensure that health service capabilities are fully aligned with deployment and operational readiness needs.
- Assist in the management of resources related to health readiness, including personnel, medical equipment, and facilities.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred in health sciences, public health, or related field).
- Several years of experience in military healthcare management, medical readiness, or a related field, with a focus on health system integration, readiness, and coordination.
- Knowledgeable of DoD health readiness policies, military medical systems, and health logistics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively between various military and civilian organizations.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
