Job Description
Responsibilities :
- Under direct mentorship, a PDT Associate will gain knowledge of preventive / predictive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairing a variety of electronic and / or electrical equipment relative to their assigned location.
- Assist mentor with LOTO of equipment and function testing to verify equipment readiness.
- Must have a basic understanding of electronic and / or electrical schematics / drawings / prints.
- Performs work within a variety of Halliburton-specific software and hardware.
- Assist with rig up / down of electric frac equipment, including making electrical connections and deploying medium voltage electric cables.
- Assist mentor with identifying unsafe conditions and suspending site operations until conditions are safe.
- The role is a developmental role that will work around three-phase power distribution components up to 15,000 volts (medium voltage electricity), PLC hardware, and cabling.
- This role is developmental through OJT and training.
- It is expected that someone in this role will be able to break out as an independent PDT within 1 year of start.
