What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Inspector position at Lu Engineers?
Lu Engineers provides transportation, civil and environmental engineering services to state and federal clients, along with many municipalities across New York. Our clients include the New York State Department of Transportation, Counties, Cities, Towns, Villages and New York State Thruway Authority. We are currently seeking qualified candidates to join our construction inspection team for 2025 in and around Elmira, NY.
Lu Engineers is seeking candidates to fill NICET II & NICET III level construction inspection positions throughout New York. Candidates must be qualified with experience in construction inspection of heavy highway and/or bridge construction projects. Formal training in work zone traffic control is required (ATSSA). Familiarity with Appia or SiteManager is required. Certifications such as ACI Concrete Field Testing, NETTCP Soil & Aggregate, NACE Level 1, SSPC C-1 also preferred. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
