This role requires reliability, trustworthiness, and consistency with attendance. Your Impact as an Instructor
In this role, you will:
- Lead Nurse Aide Training: Oversee CNA training and staff development/education programs.
- Support Long-Term Care Expertise: Apply your knowledge and leadership skills to improve staff performance.
- Assist with Staffing Needs: Augment floor staffing if needed, provided it does not conflict with CNA training responsibilities.
- Ensure Quality and Compliance: Complete necessary assessments and maintain infection control procedures.
- Provide Additional Support: Assist with on-call or shift coverage as long as it does not conflict with CNA training duties.
What Makes You a Great Fit
We’re seeking someone who:
- Is an RN or LVN in good standing with the State Nursing Board.
- Has significant technical experience and demonstrated leadership/management skills.
- Possesses a strong geriatric nursing background.
- Has experience in education and/or staff development.
- Embraces a restorative care philosophy and exhibits excellent professional skills in assessment, communication, and organization.
- Has a working knowledge of nursing home regulations.
