Major Responsibilities and Duties
- Greet visitors and monitor all visitors to the high school athletic office.
- Answer all phone calls. Take and deliver messages.
- Pick up and sort mail; respond as needed. Deliver mail to all coaches and players.
- Submit job posting information to the Assistant Athletic Director of Personnel and Business.
- Take daily attendance for CA. Maintain a cumulative attendance report.
- Early release/excusal lists - Notify appropriate high school groups and code student activities as
- Assist Head Football Coach with the UIL Portal procedures
- Notarize all school related documentation for new head coaches. (PAPF, PAF, etc.)
- Assist with course change request and follow up.
- Assist with Failure/Grade reports.
- Serve as campus designee for Transfinder.
- Monitor RankOne schedules & summaries
- Coordinate all athletic facility requests through Lubbock ISD Facilities Department.
- Meal/travel requests: Assist Head Football Coach with all team travel.
- Draft correspondence. Generate reports and other documents upon request.
- Communicate all athletic signings through the LISD Communications and Community Relations
- Awards - Gather information for nominations, submit nominations, and follow up with the
- Send reminders to all head coaches about Academic All-State deadlines. Compute GPA and
- Gather all student/athlete prospect lists for recruiting purposes.
- Booster Club Liaison. Assist the Campus Administrator in charge of booster clubs.
- Maintain an up-to-date coaches contact list.
- Coordinate and assist with future athlete night and senior night for varsity football.
