Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Test Technician:
- Be familiar with and adhere to the Company Core Values; policies – including LPI rules, procedures and processes, ISO 9001:2008 Quality System requirements; OSHA Regulations, company safety rules.
- Set up and test lube oil systems per test procedures.
- Diagnose problems with flow rate, temperature, and pressure of constructed units.
- Responsible for working with customers on final inspections and other final reviews.
- Documentation of all test procedures based on what is required.
- Maintain oil stores.
- Maintain test equipment.
- Records hours worked for production process into Epicor manufacturing software.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Understanding of hydraulics, electrical, instrumentation and piping.
- Knowledge of industrial pumps, valves and hydraulic systems.
- Comprehension of P&ID’s; (symbology and process flow).
- Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changes in the scope of projects.
GENERAL:
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Proficiency in working with mechanical and electric measurement tools and devices (micrometers, calipers, Megohmmeters etc.)
- Suggests changes to increase efficiencies and/or improve the quality of products.
- Responsible for following established safety policies and accidental injury guidelines.
- Responsible to shutdown work area and assigned department tasks at end of workday.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Hourly Rate: $22-25 depending on experience.
