The Safety and Compliance Manager will develop and execute Ascentek's DOT and Safety Programs, ensuring we provide our teammates with safe work environments that also meet regulatory requirements. The Safety and Compliance Manager will support efforts to proactively eliminate driver safety risks and workplace hazards via engineering controls, policies, work procedures, training, inspections, etc.
The Safety and Compliance Manager will also lead and participate in the investigation of incidents, near misses, and hazard identification and work with the operations teams to identify and implement appropriate corrective actions.
Additionally, a strong emphasis will be placed on developing a world-class DOT Safety program. The Safety and Compliance Manager will also support Safety compliance initiatives across the organization.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO OUR TEAM(Overview & Key Responsibilities) :
Education : Bachelor's degree, preferably in Safety or related field, and / or relevant experience in transportation.
Experience and / or Training :
Schedule : Must be flexible with hours, occasionally working off hours and / or weekends
Travel : 20%

The anticipated hiring range for the role you are applying for is between $95,475 and $121,605 annually. This anticipated hiring range is based on several factors, and subject to increase based on the below :
