Summary: Our Shop Service Technician will troubleshoot and repair heavy construction equipment in-shop. This person will specialize in custom solutions for critical and complex applications, service, and repair of diesel-powered heavy construction equipment and associated accessories. The opening is for our Fenton, MO location; Mon-Fri. (Day shift)
- Utilize OEM technology to troubleshoot equipment failures in-house and handle repairs of equipment as directed.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on equipment in the field.
- Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
- Understand schematics, diagrams, hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Diagnose Mechanical issues utilizing company-issued laptop.
- Maintain clean, organized work area.
- Exhibit professionalism and positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and teach others; team player.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma, GED required. Certification or degree in Diesel Technology Program preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience servicing and maintenance of heavy construction equipment.
- OSHA-10
