Summary: The Yard Technician will ensure that the new/used/rental equipment in the yard and shop are properly maintained and repaired to maximize productivity. This position will be located at our Cape Girardeau location.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment (this requires operating forklifts as well as large and small construction equipment)
- Moving and staging equipment around the yard and pulling in bays for maintenance.
- General yard and facility maintenance.
- Use of high-pressure wand for rinsing and washouts of large machinery and trailers.
- Painting
- Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures.
- Experience operating forklifts and various construction type equipment.
- Knowledge of construction equipment and inventory control as well as quality control and workflow/assembly processes.
- Capabilities in the use of standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and knowledge of typical dealer business systems.
- Ability to lift up to 45lbs.
- Diligent attention to safety.
