Luby's Culinary Services is seeking a Culinary Director to manage the day-to-day operations of Three Crosses Regional Hospital. You will be responsible for the revenue, expenses, profitability, compliance with standards of operations, accounting, and administrative aspects of their location. You will manage, coach, develop, and lead the Culinary team. You will build and maintain relationships with colleagues, clients, and customers, act consistently with the values and beliefs of our Mission Statement, and maintain professional relationships with colleagues, clients, customers, and partners.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities of the Culinary Director at Three Crosses Regional Hospital:
- Operational Excellence & Quality Assurance - Ensures food quality, safety, and compliance with hospital regulations while swiftly resolving daily operational issues to maintain efficiency.
- Leadership & Staff Development - Acts as a role model for core values, fosters a positive work environment, and provides coaching and constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
- Client & Patient Satisfaction - Takes personal responsibility for addressing and resolving client and patient service concerns, ensuring high satisfaction levels and exceptional dining experiences.
- Financial & Resource Management - Oversees budgeting, cost control, and financial performance, ensuring profitability while maintaining high-quality food service operations.
- Stakeholder Communication & Relationship Management - Maintains open and transparent communication with hospital administrators, staff, and clients, keeping them informed of changes, challenges, and improvements in culinary services.
Requirements to be Three Crosses Regional Hosiptal’s Culinary Director:
- Education & Experience: Associate’s Degree or higher with a minimum of 5 years in hospital food service management.
- Financial Acumen: Strong budgeting, accounting, and P&L management skills to drive profitability.
- Leadership & Team Development: Ability to train, manage, and lead a team with a positive, professional attitude.
- Client & Communication Skills: Experienced in relationship management with strong communication at all levels.
- Operational & Logistical Expertise: Strong analytical and planning skills; must meet U.S. work eligibility and have reliable transportation.
