Kitchen Manager - Luby's Culinary Services

Luby’s Culinary Services, operated by Pappas Restaurants Inc., is in search of a Kitchen Manager that is committed to quality! This position will execute the culinary menu and vision for a specific Luby’s Culinary Services concept. They will be responsible for maintaining the food quality and management of the back of the house team.

Responsibilities
• Oversee a scratch kitchen and an innovative, fresh and modern menu.
• Ensure that all team members and systems function efficiently so that guests are satisfied.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure the restaurant achieves it budgeted goals and team member morale is maintained.

• Positive and professional attitude
• Culinary degree, bachelor’s degree, or commensurate experience
• Previous experience as an Executive Chef
• Up to date Food Safety Certifications as required by local, county or state laws
• Creative, multi-dimensional with experience working with multiple cuisines
• Experience creating menu items and partnering with chefs to redesign a menu on a seasonal basis
• Proven leadership in managing a kitchen and team members
• Experience training, developing and engaging team members
• Ability to maintain composure in high pressure situations and ability to motivate staff to do the same
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to establish effective and collaborative working relationships
