Human Resources Manager Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and performance management; conduct investigations as necessary.
- Facilitate training and development programs to promote workforce skill enhancement and career progression.
- Oversee recruitment and selection processes to attract top talent; manage relationships with recruitment agencies as needed.
- Administer employee benefits, compensation, and leave programs while ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations, keeping the organization informed of changes that may affect HR policies and practices.
Project Management:
- Lead HR projects from conception to execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, making adjustments as necessary to achieve successful outcomes.
- Develop and implement project plans that drive process improvements across the HR function.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and analyze existing HR processes; recommend and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Utilize data and metrics to assess the impact of changes and refine strategies accordingly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven project management experience, with a track record of successful process improvements.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with UKG Pro a plus.
