Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Analyst
Location: Louisville, KY (hybrid)
Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented VMI Analyst to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for managing data integrity, systems communication and functionality, reviewing inventory levels, ensuring timely replenishment, and supporting the smooth flow of products through the distribution network. You will work in a collaborative environment with experienced team members and have the opportunity to develop key analytical and problem-solving skills while driving continuous improvement within the inventory management process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage data streams and ensure integrity throughout supply chain systems.
- Ensure supply chain models are accurate and lead troubleshooting root cause analyses cross functionally with IT and distributors.
- Proactively monitor distributor inventory levels to prevent out-of-stock situations and ensure seamless product availability.
- Collaborate with sales teams and distributor partners to manage replenishment orders and optimize stock levels.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance inventory management and provide excellent service to customers.
- Analyze pricing, sales data, and inventory levels to understand trends and make data-driven recommendations.
- Create and maintain analytical tools to evaluate the performance of the vendor-managed inventory system and suggest improvements.
- Develop and refine processes to ensure continuous product flow to the trade, optimizing supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform tasks with high accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Comfortable using technology and systems to manage data and processes.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly in Excel, with the ability to manipulate data in multiple ways (e.g., pivot tables, data visualization, complex formulas).
- Quick to learn new systems and technologies, and able to integrate data between different systems efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- 1-3 years of experience in customer service or related fields.
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
