Job Summary : We are seeking a seasoned Process Engineer in Rome, GA with significant industry experience, especially in printing. The successful candidate will serve as the go-to technical person for press, lamination, and slitting operations. The role demands exceptional troubleshooting skills, the ability to train and communicate effectively with operators, and a strong commitment to safety policies. The Process Engineer will work closely with the CI manager to drive solutions and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities :
Serve as the technical expert for press, lamination, and slitting operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the floor, spending 90% of the time directly with operators and mechanics.
Train and mentor operators, setting an example of adherence to safety policies and procedures.
Collaborate with the CI manager to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Be on call 24 / 7 and available to come in as needed.
Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
Provide exceptional troubleshooting skills to minimize downtime and optimize processes.
Qualifications :
7-10 years of technical experience in the printing industry.
Strong industry knowledge; formal education is not required.
Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to communicate and train operators effectively.
Commitment to safety and ability to set a positive example.
Stable work history with no frequent job changes.
