The Spray Technician maintains the health and appearance of landscapes and lawns by applying various treatments and pest control measures. Duties
- Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to lawns, gardens, and landscapes according to established guidelines.
- Conduct inspections to identify pest problems and determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Operate and maintain various equipment such as power tools, hand tools, and farm machinery used in the application process.
- Drive to different job sites safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding services performed and recommendations for lawn care.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments applied, including dates, locations, and types of products used.
- Follow all safety protocols to protect oneself, clients, and the environment during application processes.
Skills
- Knowledge of pest control methods and lawn care practices is essential.
- Experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating power tools, hand tools, and farm machinery.
- Strong driving skills with a valid driver's license.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are necessary for maintaining accurate records.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
