- Shift: 1st (Monday - Thursday)
- Starting Pay: $20.48 per
- Full-time position with growth opportunities
- Operate machines safely, following all procedures and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Prioritize job flow based on input from production planning and supervision.
- Follow work instructions and maintain product traceability.
- Measure and record data using tools such as micrometers, verniers, calipers, rulers, and scales.
- Perform light maintenance on equipment and use supportive hand tools.
- Read and interpret routings, process sheets, and shop orders; cross-train as needed.
- Ensure accuracy in alloy identification, order documentation, and data entry.
- Identify and communicate quality issues throughout the process.
- Troubleshoot and solve routine machine and process issues.
- Work closely with engineering to identify material and process improvement opportunities.
- Operate additional machinery as assigned.
- Perform other duties and overtime as needed.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Forklift license required for most melt and extrusion positions at the Warwick Plant.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs or operate a hoist for heavier materials.
- Ability to work in high-heat environments (ambient temperatures up to 105°F
- Must be able to stand for long periods and step up and down frequently.
- Ability to see small defects during the inspection process.
- Position requires a High School education/GED
