What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Shift Maintenance Tech position at Lucas Oil Products Inc?
Job Purpose:
The Weekend Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining all plant equipment and facilities at Plant 1 and Plant 2 on a Friday through Monday schedule.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains a clean and orderly shop environment.
- Troubleshoots energized and non-energized circuits.
- Identifies and resolves mechanical issues.
- Diagnoses and repairs pneumatic and hydraulic circuit problems.
- Collaborates with Maintenance Supervisors to complete daily Preventive Maintenance tasks.
- Pursues necessary repairs to all equipment.
Requirements:
- Exceptional mechanical aptitude.
- A minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail.
Education and Certification:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to navigate the property and facility on foot.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Capacity to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
