Lucas Tree Experts is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Specialty Equipment Operator .
CDL A or B License preferred .Applicants must be able to operate various types of equipment (e.g., brush hog, brontosaurus mowers, jarraff, log loader, skidder / yanmar) and manually remove vegetation from work areas. Applicants must be willing to travel, able to work safely, lift 75lbs, learn how to operate a bucket, climb trees using ropes and saddle, attain appropriate industry certificates and licenses.

QUALIFICATIONS :
Must be 18 years of age with a High School Diploma / GED / or equivalent.
Understanding of computer & electronic usage required.
Possess and maintain a valid drivers license that is in good standing as defined by Lucas Tree Experts.
CDL A or B License preferred or must be willing to obtain one within the first 6 months of employment (this is paid for by Lucas Tree Experts) .
Basic Mechanical Skills required.
Tree Experience required (position requires ground cutting with chain saw).
Jarraff / Sky Trim / Brush Hog experience needed.
Must be able to accept responsibility as well as follow written and verbal orders.
Must be punctual and reliable.
Previous mowing experience preferred.
Must be able to process mapping & have general map reading abilities.
Should be able to obtain and maintain first aid certification.
Must be able to pass the Electrical Hazards Program within the first 30 days of employment.
Must be able to work outdoors under varying and sometimes adverse weather and environmental conditions. The position requires walking on uneven ground and lifting 75 lbs.on a regular basis.
Should be able to obtain and maintain licenses (i.e. Arborist, Pesticide)as required by the position(this is paid for by Lucas Tree Experts).
Lucas Tree requires the successful completion of a post offer Background Check with MVR.
