Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and test data infrastructure to transform data from structured and unstructured sources
- Design and optimize complex queries across NoSQL and big data systems
- Build robust ETL pipelines for large-scale data ingestion and integration
- Work with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, platform APIs, and distributed data systems
- Configure and manage modern data frameworks using tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4j, GraphDB, HDInsight, and Hive
- Apply distributed systems principles (e.g., fault tolerance, durability, consensus algorithms)
- Administer cloud and CI/CD environments including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud
- Collaborate with product, data, and design teams to support data infrastructure needs
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on Data Engineering experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred)
- Proficient with data structures, distributed computing, and API-driven architecture
- Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL database systems
- Knowledge of Agile development, Git, and UML modeling frameworks
- Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or similar certification
- Support critical Department of Defense operations
- Work in a secure, mission-focused environment
