Supply Chain Analyst

Job Summary

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for analyzing supply chain data, optimizing inventory levels, and improving efficiencies. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth operations by providing insights, tracking key performance metrics, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. The Analyst will work a variety of cross-functional groups to support business objectives.

Scope Of Job

• Purpose and Impact: This role supports the operational and production goals of the company by providing data-driven insights to improve supply chain performance and efficiency.
• Key Stakeholder Interaction: Collaborates with purchasing, production, quality, retail, logistics, finance and others as projects are identified.
• KPIs: Inventory turnover, supplier lead time, system data accuracy, cost reduction initiatives, forecasting, and other assigned metrics.
  
  

Duties/Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify trends and improvement areas.
• Monitor inventory levels and recommend adjustments to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Drive cycle count process within Supply Chain.
• Support procurement decisions by analyzing supplier performance and pricing trends.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve demand forecasting and supply planning.
• Track and report key supply chain metrics, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to enhance supply chain operations.
• Assist in developing cost-saving strategies while maintaining quality and service standards.
• Work within ERP system to develop efficiencies and drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Excellent communication skills to present findings and recommendations effectively to a variety of stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on quality, cost optimization and efficiency.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and supply chain software (e.g., ERP, Excel, Power BI)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  
  

Preferred Education, Experience, And/or Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or relevant to the experience
• Experience in supply chain analytics, procurement or logistics
• Familiarity with manufacturing operations
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Standing and walking production floor for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift up-to 30 pounds at times
• Must be able to hear, and listen, to effectively communicate
  
  

Travel required up to 20% of the time
