Key Responsibilities
- Selling oncology services and products within cancer centers and community oncologists.
- Establishing a business plan and developing opportunities to achieve/exceed sales goals and revenue targets.
- Developing and maintaining relationships/ partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders(KOLs), academic and community cancer centers, community oncology clinics and hospitals within designated regions.
- Maintaining strong relationships and customer satisfaction for new and existing clients.
- Providing billing/reimbursement support as relevant for patients, practices and hospital customers.
- Implementing laboratory services or other agreements as relevant.
- Providing meeting and tradeshow support as relevant.
- Providing regular updates of best practices, industry trends, competitive products and services, as well as highlighting reimbursement/ billing challenges.
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in life science, biology, business or marketing.
- At least 5 years of experience working with major cancer centers and clinics, oncology Group Purchasing Organisation (GPOs), large health systems, International Health & Development Networks ( IHDNs), and large oncology practices.
- Proven track record and examples of exceeding sales goals.
- Knowledge of the local oncology market, molecular diagnostics, personalized medicine and reimbursement.
- Flexibility to perform overnight travel as needed.
- The ability to juggle multiple accounts at a time while maintaining sharp attention to details.
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills. You would possess solid consultative selling and objection handling skills with an ability to uncover an opportunity and deliver the solution.
- A high level of integrity, thoughtfulness and discretion in handling confidential information and interacting with customers.
- A positive attitude and appreciation for a growing start-up environment with the willingness to deliver client feedback to Lucence management on a regular basis.
- Self-motivation in driving results with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Salesforce CRM.
