Job Description / Essential Elements :
BASIC FUNCTION :
Under supervision of the principal, assists the teacher and / or administrator by helping students with special language needs, who have English language deficiency attain high levels of scholastic achievement, either individually or in small groups; performs a wide variety of routine clerical and instructionally related tasks and performs other duties as required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Assists in the planning strategies used in the instruction of students within
specific programs
and assists in assembling bulletin boards, learning centers and other
areas within the classrooms

Proof of High School Diploma or equivalent
Must pass a District proficiency test or submit a copy of unofficial college transcripts showing the successful completion of 48 semester units.
