Sales & Account Manager
JOB SUMMARY: The Sales and Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing and nurturing relationships with existing clients, while also identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. This role involves a combination of sales, customer service, and strategic account management to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and business expansion. The Sales and Account Manager is expected to meet sales targets, collaborate with other departments, and provide excellent service throughout the customer life cycle.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in sectors.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive advantage.
- Create and present compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Account Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or concerns that arise.
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., operations, design, maintenance) to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
- Conduct regular client meetings and performance reviews to assess satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services.
Customer Service:
- Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Provide expert advice on irrigation, construction, and landscaping services, including recommendations for maintenance and upgrades.
- Ensure that clients receive exceptional service and that their expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
Project Oversight:
- Collaborate with operation managers and field teams to ensure that project specifications, timelines, and budgets are adhered to.
- Review project progress and adjust plans as needed to accommodate changes or address challenges.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Reporting and Administration duties
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel locally and attend site visits as required.
- Must be able to work in various outdoor conditions and environments.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Proven experience in sales and account management, preferably in the irrigation, construction, landscaping industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software (Service Titan) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on active
listening.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to resolve client
issues.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
- Experience in conducting client satisfaction surveys or quality assurance checks.
- Familiarity with competitive pricing analysis and market research techniques.
- Knowledge of industry-specific terminology and practices.

- Weekly Report
- Weekly/Biweekly 1 on 1 with Sales Manager – L10
- Weekly huddles
- Proper management of your time, calendars, and commitments
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
