The Role: Snow Removal –Plow Truck Driver/ Salter

The Opportunity:The Plow Driver/Salter reports directly to the Area Manager and is responsible for ensuring quality and efficiency of SIM services. Key responsibilities include operating a snowplow and salting equipment to clear and de-ice parking lots, and other designated areas. This position requires strong driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.

Your Day to Day:
- Operate snowplow truck and salting equipment to clear and de-ice parking lots and other designated areas
- Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely snow removal and salting services
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust plowing and salting activities accordingly
- Keep accurate records of work performed
- Collaborate with SIM Area Manager to coordinate snow removal efforts
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety and follow all safety guidelines and protocols
Who You Are (Qualifications & Skills) – Must Haves:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Previous experience operating snowplow trucks and salting equipment; 2 years preferred
- Knowledge of safe snow removal and salting techniques
- Ability to work long hours, including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to perform the job, including lifting and shoveling snow when necessary
- Clean driving record and commitment to safety.
