**The Role**
Lucid Motors is seeking an experienced Battery Test Engineer II to join our electrical engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering battery safety and abuse testing, including cell, module, and pack-level validation.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver battery safety and abuse testing at cell, module, and pack levels
- Plan and coordinate internal and external testing activities to meet program milestones
- Support the development of test procedures and methods to ensure highest levels of safety
- Analyze test data and provide critical feedback on product and performance development
Requirements:
- Masters/PhD or 2 years of experience in a relevant battery testing or associated role
- Experience with safety and abuse test methods and procedures
- Ability to compile clear and detailed test plans
- Hands-on experience with testing equipment and methods
- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude
