We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our ESG/Sustainability department and support the team’s progress in key sustainability areas like decarbonization, human rights, employee engagement, and communication. The ideal candidate will be both a self-starter and a strong team player with an interest in learning corporate sustainability concepts. S/he should be able to work independently and collaboratively to ensure maximum project impact.

Role/Responsibilities Could Include
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
Base Pay Range (Annual)
$26—$45 USD

Role/Responsibilities Could Include
- Support decarbonization projects across the business by partnering with stakeholders in supply chain, engineering, EHS, and others
- Support building up data systems and processes as well as analyze environmental data to best drive progress forward
- Support corporate employee engagement activities like hosting events like webinars and community engagement, lower waste of our offices, writing articles to post on our internal channels
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to various team projects as needed
- Field(s) of study: Environmental Studies, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Human Rights, or related field
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD Degree program at an accredited university
- Ability to work in a complex, dynamic and fast-paced environment, independently or collaboratively to achieve goals and drive results
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
