Lucid Motors is searching for a Sr Plant Floor Systems (PFS) Engineer for its Casa Grande area facilities who will be responsible for MES and Ignition Platform integration, monitoring and troubleshooting in operations and maintenance of the systems in the plant. The PFS Engineer will be the primary point of contact for each Manufacturing Technology System in Production to ensure business continuity in one of the following departments: Quality, Logistics, Powertrain, BIW, Paint, Stamping and/or GA.

Lucid Motors is searching for a Sr Plant Floor Systems (PFS) Engineer for its Casa Grande area facilities who will be responsible for MES and Ignition Platform integration, monitoring and troubleshooting in operations and maintenance of the systems in the plant. You Will
- Integrating modules, operating solutions, and maintaining the platforms of the entire Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Manufacturing Ignition System (MIS) in the plant, provided by Rockwell Automation and Inductive Automation
- Work with the team on establishing MES/MIS design principles, good practices, standard implementations, documentation generation and maintenance procedures.
- Lead the software development for Andon screens, Business KPI dashboards and Manufacturing report by always assuring the data integrity of the Manufacturing Ignition System
- Assist with project definition of MES/ MIS, including developing, QA Testing and Production validation of the proposals for Build Management through agile delivery processes.
- Work closely with manufacturing, line integrators, vendors during installation/validation to stablish the connectivity with third parties systems in the Manufacturing and Enterprise of MES/MIS.
- Ensure system uptime and backup for all MES (Hardware and Software) in the plant by developing standard interfaces such as Web services and XML files exchange.
- Work on establishing consistent metrics and data collection for Root cause analysis and continuous improvement including the future oriented remote diagnostics.
- Coordinate with engineering and gather the new requirements of the new project and stablish properly the deliverables to finally provide a status and progress.
- Monitor the timing and goals to assist the project manager to define the resources and clear direction of the project during regular team meetings
- Bachelor Engineering or Master Science degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Electronics/Instrumentation or equivalent work experience emphasis on Plant Floor Operations.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing development and launch experience with emphasis on IT Applications and Plant Floor Operations.
- Proven experience in SCADA, IoT, or MES Systems developed by Rockwell Automation and Inductive Automation.
- Expert knowledge of SCADA Software: Ignition, Iconics, Cimplicity, or similar software.
- Proficient knowledge of computer programming (SQL, OPC, HTML, JAVA, Phyton, C Sharp, Visual Basic)
- Fundamental of Database Concept of SQL servers (DDL, DML, DCL, Indexing, Join, Subquery, Union, Order by, Group By)
- Strong understanding of PLC Programing: Rockwell and Siemens.
- Strong understanding of HMI Development: Rockwell, Siemens.
- Problem-solving skills specific to Information Technology, Network Management, and System Design.
- Experienced in designing and implementing Business Continuity Plans and Disaster Recovery Plans.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
- Should be proficient in various Ignition Architecture, Licensing schemes, Scripting and Reporting.
- Project management experience on large scales design and development of Manufacturing Systems.
- Manufacturing automotive experience, specific to one or more of the following areas: Powertrain, BIW, Paint, and/or
