About the Role
The Value Analysis Engineer Lead will be responsible for supporting the leading VAVE Program Manager in the analysis and engineering of value in a product. This role requires a strong technical background and excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex technical issues at all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will be energetic and willing to learn and take on new challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the cross-functional engineering and operations teams to identify and implement value engineering opportunities.
- Develop, prioritize, and drive product cost reduction initiatives with engineering, supply chain, and operations.
- Define and maintain the schedule for individual cost reduction measures, track progress, and drive execution.
The Value Analysis Engineer Lead will also collaborate with other teams to develop and prioritize product cost reduction initiatives and review and track targets of the costed BoM for current and future programs.
