CAE Engineer - Luxury Electric Vehicles
Lucid Motors is seeking a highly skilled CAE engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform simulations to evaluate occupant crash performance for various impacts.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop design recommendations.
- Assist in building CAE models and creating analysis reports.
- Communicate program status to relevant teams and participate in post-test teardowns.
- Conduct DOE/DFSS studies using optimization tools on vehicle designs.
- Develop standard work procedures for delivering quality models.
- Lead/mentor junior engineers.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of experience in vehicle occupant CAE, preferably in an Automotive OEM or equivalent environment.
- Strong analytical skills to draw meaningful conclusions from CAE results.
- Knowledge of global regulatory and consumer safety requirements.
- Ability to concisely present technical issues and propose next steps.
- Advanced user of CAE tools such as Ansa, LS-Dyna, Meta, Primer, Hyperworks.
- BS minimum in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
