We are hiring for an IT Risk Analyst role on behalf of our client. This is a Contract position with the client, offering an excellent opportunity to work on impactful projects with a talented team.

- Position: IT Risk Analyst
- Location: Detroit, MI and Charlotte, NC (ONLY LOCALS)
- Work Setup: Hybrid
NOTE: Onsite in Detroit - Hybrid model - onsite 3 days a week, will consider Charlotte candidates as well – Hybrid – 3 days a week. **IT Risk Analyst ** Coordinate and manage IT Risk Issues across a LOB. **Archer; ** Power BI; **Risk Assessment skills/background; ** JIRA. **Strong attention to detail//organization skills; **Excellent follow up skills – may have to pester for a response; **Excellent communication skill. **Prefer candidates with relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, AWS Certified Security). **Critical thinking/problem solving, detail oriented. **Collaborative & highly professional, able to self-manage (does not need constant direction/micromanagement) **Positive attitude, team player, works well with others and excellent time management and able to work well in a matrixed environment. Provide location and interview availability ** Video conference interview - 2 rounds.
Job Description
The Opportunity (Position Description)
This role will be responsible for assisting in implementing various component of the IT risk management program as well as risk reporting for the ETO (Enterprise Technology Operations) team. The role will work closely with multiple stakeholders including the ETO leadership team, business leaders, and technology project and operations teams to monitor technology risk issues and ensure completion of risk remediation efforts within deadlines.
The Work Itself (Job Responsibilities)
Coordinate and manage IT risks and issues across ETO.
Develop and present risk reports and action plans to business partners and senior management via risk routines.
Consult with technology and business partners to develop action plans for issues and manage risk remediation efforts.
Prepare materials for Enterprise IT Risk routines and Business Risk Forums.
Coordinate the resolution of open control issues for ETO including audit, compliance, regulatory, vendor, and self- identified issues.
Lead risk project and process improvement efforts for ETO.
Partner and collaborate with Enterprise Risk, Compliance, and Information Security teams to ensure alignment and proper risk treatments.
Participate in business and IT Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSA).
Other duties as required.
The Skills You Bring (Job Qualifications)
5 years of IT, Risk Management or related experience.
Financials Services Experience preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field preferred.
Strong customer/client focus with ability to manage expectations appropriately and provide superior customer/client experience and build long-term relationships.
Critical Thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
Proactive, outspoken, and effective at providing credible challenge to key partners
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong Project and Process Management skills.
Ability to interact with personnel at all levels across the organization including executive leadership and to comprehend business imperatives.
Ability to function in a matrix organization.
Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint skills.
Experience using the Archer tool.
Experience using PowerBI and Jira preferred.
