Position Summary: The Associate Production Planner plays a crucial role in scheduling and coordinating production resources to ensure smooth workflow and alignment with customer demands. This role requires strong analytical skills, collaboration across departments, and the ability to proactively manage constraints to meet production goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor material availability and proactively address material and capacity constraints.
- Support customer service by providing lead times and responding to inquiries.
- Collaborate with purchasing, quality, warehouse, and production teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Develop and maintain a level-loaded production schedule.
- Comply with all company policies, rules, guidelines and behavior expectations.
- Perform other duties as requested by the company.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication skills to drive cross-functional collaboration.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines with a sense of urgency.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Infor Syteline or SAP ERP systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt.
