Summary: As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing advanced software programs and systems that align with end-user needs. Duties include collaborating with stakeholders to strategize software solutions, leading the design and development of applications, and implementing complex integrations. A strong emphasis is placed on creating clean, efficient, and scalable code for the full technology stack.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with management, staff, and IT to identify and refine end-user requirements.
- Lead the design and development of new system programs and applications, or enhance features of existing ones, with a focus on clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Develop and optimize tools to improve the productivity of Lucifer Lighting Company across multiple platforms.
- Evaluate and recommend the best technologies and frameworks to address specific project requirements.
- Deliver scalable, long-term technical solutions while managing ambiguity inherent in innovative projects.
- Work with external vendors to implement and enhance integrations among applications.
- Perform all phases of software development: requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, integration, installation, maintenance, and documentation.
- Provide training and technical guidance to staff on developed software.
- Create thorough documentation for use and support of developed software.
- Stay up to date with best practices in security, coding, and software development.
- Continuously learn and identify opportunities to adopt new technologies for current and future projects.
- Attend training on proprietary systems used by Lucifer Lighting Company, including but not limited to Syteline and Salesforce.
- Recommend and lead changes to development and systems integration to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Education and Experience:

- 4-6 years of professional experience in software development with demonstrated expertise in Angular, Spring Boot, Python, and related technologies.
- Equivalent work experience with job-specific certifications may be considered.
Working Environment:
