What are the responsibilities and job description for the Curator position at Lucile M. Wright Air Museum?
CURATOR NEEDED For a Local Museum The Lucile M. Wright Air Museum, whose motto is "Educating Youth Through Aviation," is located in the Hotel Jamestown building at 110 West 3rd Street. We are looking for a responsible individual to serve as curator in a part-time capacity. Some of the criteria applicants should meet include but are not limited to : communication skills, aviation-related knowledge, experience in education, a desire to work with youth, an interest in history, and the ability to learn about the exhibits the museum has acquired.
Responsibilities would include but are not limited to being in the museum during open hours, organizing displays, greeting people to talk about exhibits, representing the museum to the public, and keeping our website running and active.
Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled or June 15, 2025, whichever comes first.
