The Plant and Equipment Operator is responsible for accurately mixing and blending materials to meet product specifications, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards. The operator will oversee material production, storage, and customer truck loading, ensuring accuracy and efficiency while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. · Accurate Mix Blending: Has the ability to interpret documents, regulations, operating instructions with accuracy. Weigh or measure materials and products to ensure conformance to requirements.
25% of job:
· Technical Blending & Quality Acumen: Blend materials using appropriate equipment; then allow them to mix for specified times; sample and check quality to meet specifications. Stop mixing or blending when specified product qualities are obtained, and transfer mixtures to be ready for transportation. Collect samples of materials or products for laboratory testing to ensure accurate specifications are met. Examine materials or products visually or with hands, to ensure conformance to established requirements.
25% of job:
· Produce & Store Material: Produce the right amount of product/material, for each job, within the timeframe required. Observe production and monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
10% of job
· Loading Customer Trucks
· Accurate and efficient at loading customer trucks
· Ensuring customers have the right material before loading trucks.
· Efficiently use the loader app for the loading of customer trucks.
· Ensuring site is kept up to standard (roads, stockpiles, and travel ways.
10% of job:
· Mobile and Stationary Equipment - Equipment Maintenance: Perform operator maintenance on blending equipment, mobile and stationary screens, and conveyors. Able to troubleshoot and maintain needed equipment repair. Ex. Screen changes, making adjustments to blending plant, belt repair and pulleys.
5% of job:
· Housekeeping: Ensure site and equipment are kept to standard. Cabs of equipment are kept clean and orderly; spillage is cleaned up (no build up under conveyors) Shop and breakroom are kept clean, and site trucks are kept clean and orderly.
5% of job:
· Material Delivery: Ensure accurate product prep and storage for shipping and delivery to customer sites.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Required Certifications:
Work Experience: 3 years of prior experience in aggregate, soils or sand manufacturing environment

ENVIRONMENT OR PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Ability to work under conditions of frequent exposure to dusty conditions and the full range of weather conditions; frequently in, on, and around quarry high walls and pit; extended periods working from elevated positions or in tunnels.

Pay starts at $23.73 per hour but may increase upon experience evaluation by management.
