Stock Associate

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stocking Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our store is well-stocked, organized, and welcoming for customers. You will play a crucial part in maintaining inventory levels and providing excellent customer service while working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Duties

• Stock shelves and displays with merchandise, ensuring products are faced forward and easily accessible to customers.
• Clean and prep products prior to placing on sales floor.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
• Package products for display and ensure proper labeling for easy identification.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stockroom and sales floor.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and locating products.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily stocking goals and maintain a positive work environment.
• Unload daily deliveries.
• Assist customers to their cars with items purchased.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting, as the role requires moving boxes and products weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate stocking and organization of merchandise.
• Excellent communication skills to provide outstanding customer service.
• A proactive attitude towards maintaining store standards and enhancing the shopping experience for customers.
• On time and great work ethic required!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 – 25 per week
